
HEAD OF GROWTH & CAPITAL STRATEGY
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Swan AI’s Head of Growth & Capital Strategy, you will be the driving force behind our next phase of growth, with a particular emphasis on fundraising, healthcare integration, and investor relations. You will partner closely with our leadership team to form new partnerships and engagement opportunities within various prospective sources of investment. We seek an entrepreneurial-minded leader who can work through ambiguity and create the strategy and mechanisms to position us to meet our growth objectives. You will have direct capital raising experience, familiarity with the broader healthcare ecosystem, and likely have established relationships within the prospective investment community. This is a new function that will allow you to build from the ground up and inject your ideas on how we position Swan for growth. We are a flat organization that values the opinions and high judgment of our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Capital Raising. Lead efforts to raise the necessary capital to support our growth objectives
• Lead the development and execution of capital raising strategies and processes that can scale with Swan portfolio companies
• Investor relations. You will cultivate and manage relationships that build credibility and trust for Swan
• Create meaningful materials and pitch decks that resonate and add value to our target investor community
• Track and analyze engagement metrics, drawing insights from quantitative and anecdotal data points to help fine-tune our strategy
• Collaborate with Swan partners and portfolio teams on key growth initiatives
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with Swan Clinical Advisors, Brand Marketing, and Tech teams
• Present and pitch at high-level meetings, articulating the Swan story and business model
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
• 10+ years experience raising growth capital and scaling companies, preferably within the healthcare sector
• Experience leading investor relations, including proficiency in pitching and financial forecasting
• Experience in a startup is preferred but not required
• Deep understanding of the investment landscape, especially healthcare technology
• Preferred investor network, particularly family offices, institutional investments and/or sovereign funds
• Can thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, with a bias for action
• Bachelor’s degree (advanced business/professional/health degree preferred)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
